303 MUSIC VOL. 1 + 2

ABOUT
Teaming up with “the best damn record club out there,” Vinyl Me, Please, I put together two 12-track albums featuring strictly Colorado musicians. Titled 303 Music Vol. 1, the vinyl-only albums feature beloved Colorado artists like GRiZ, DeVotchKa, The Motet, Tennis, Gregory Alan Isakov, an exclusive track by Flobots and more. They both benefit local music non-profit Youth on Record, feature art by local artists and splattered-color wax. We sold out of 500 copies of Volume 1 and are now selling Volume 2. DENVER FILM FESTIVAL MUSIC VIDEO MIXTAPE

ABOUT
This year at Denver Film Festival, 303 Magazine teamed up with Denver Film Society (DFS) to present one of the official after parties. I curated an hour-and-fifteen-minute segment of local music videos which were presented at a party of musicians, filmmakers and fans. The event took place at a local brewery where we filled all of the seats and nearly reached capacity with the standing room. The magazine is hoping to now turn this into a monthly event with DFS.

303 MUSIC FEST

ABOUT
In 2018 I founded and directed the first-ever music event for 303 Magazine. The one-night event featured over 13 Colorado performers such as Trev Rich and StayLoose, and featured appearances by Flobots, IZCALLi and more. The event sported a silent disco and all took place in an old church that’s been renovated into a nightclub. We built a stage on the main floor along with the disco and booked the stage on the downstairs level as well. The magazine continuing the event into 2019. Photography by Kyle Cooper, Seth McConnell and Amanda Piela.

THE UNDERGROUND

ABOUT
In early 2018 I proposed to 303 and Underground Music Showcase (UMS - Two Parts) that we launch an experiential music club in Denver. We ran campaigns such as mysterious clues to collect over 1,500 phone numbers and emails in a matter of weeks. When UMS 2018 took place we threw a handful of pop-ups — revealed via a text message. The pop-ups included partners like Denver Film Society, Vinyl Me, Please and even Shake Shack. I co-managed the club with four team members across two different companies.
